Back to school and back to routine – thank goodness! We did menu plan this summer, I was just bad about posting it and we were not so good at following it. With it being football season (hubby is a coach, “G” plays in the youth program, and “A” is assisting as a cheer coach), time is crunched in the evenings. Having a plan helps to ensure that we have something to eat and that we don’t have to think too hard about what it is we’re going to eat.
I’ve also started to double a few meals and freezing one. Sometimes there are days where it’s crazy busy and having something all ready to go can help save us from running out for fast food.
Here’s what’s on our menu for this week:
Monday
Lunch – Toddler: Yogurt, Diced Tomatoes and 1/2 sandwich
Me: Turkey Sandwich and Pretzels
Dinner – Peanut Sauce with Chicken and Fettuccine (slow cooker)
Tuesday

I’m linking up with Menu Plan Monday at I’m an Organizing Junkie. Head on over if you want to check out TONS of menu planning ideas.
I love that you included menus for your toddler. I really need to be better at that for my 2 year old. came over from menuplanmonday and I love your blog!
At the beginning, I really struggled with coming up with ideas for his lunches. Planning something out (even if we swap the days around) really helps me. He still gets stuck in his own rut and wants the same thing every day, but at least I’m trying to mix it up a bit. Thanks for stopping by!
