Back to school and back to routine – thank goodness! We did menu plan this summer, I was just bad about posting it and we were not so good at following it. With it being football season (hubby is a coach, “G” plays in the youth program, and “A” is assisting as a cheer coach), time is crunched in the evenings. Having a plan helps to ensure that we have something to eat and that we don’t have to think too hard about what it is we’re going to eat.

I’ve also started to double a few meals and freezing one. Sometimes there are days where it’s crazy busy and having something all ready to go can help save us from running out for fast food.

Here’s what’s on our menu for this week:

Monday

Lunch – Toddler: Yogurt, Diced Tomatoes and 1/2 sandwich
Me: Turkey Sandwich and Pretzels

Dinner – Peanut Sauce with Chicken and Fettuccine (slow cooker)

Tuesday

Lunch – Yogurt, pretzels, Ham/Cheese Rollup, Grapes
Me: Ham and Cheese Sandwich, Pretzels, Grapes

Dinner – Sour Cream Noodle Bake

Wednesday

Lunch – Toddler: PB Sandwich, Diced Tomatoes, Pretzels
Me: Turkey Sandwich, Pretzels, Yogurt

Dinner – Chicken Spaghetti

Thursday

Lunch – Toddler: Annie’s Organic Mac & Cheese and Grapes
Me: Annie’s Organic Mac & Cheese and Grapes

Dinner – Burgers and Fries

Friday

Lunch – Toddler: Cheese and Crackers, Yogurt, Grapes
Me: Cheese and Crackers, Yogurt and Grapes

Dinner – Homemade Pizza

Saturday

Dinner – Penne with Roasted Asparagus and Chicken

Sunday

Dinner – Meatloaf, Veggies, Roasted Potatoes
