My toddler is hilarious. Well, I think so anyway.
Oh! Before I forget, he’s doing well these days. He seems to have gotten over the constant tantrums – yay! Of course, he still throws a tantrum or two but he’s a toddler. It is to be expected. I’m talking about the tantrums that lead to this post and this post. My playful, happy toddler seems to be back. Let’s just keep it to ourselves. He doesn’t need to know that I told you, m’kay?
Our Christmas cards arrived in the mail last Friday. As I was looking at them, Baby E was too. The cards have a photo of the kids on it. So, I say “Who is this?” for each kid. Baby E responds with his cute names for his sister and brother. Then, when he gets to the photo of himself, I say “Who is this?” he says “You”. I chuckled for a minute. I say “No, it’s not me, it’s you… Who is this?” Again, he responds, “You” – LOL! It took me a minute, but I got it. He thinks his name is “You”. How did that happen?
Now, I’m trying to make an effort to say his name instead of you. He’s answered correctly a few times, but he still answers with “You” most of the time. Silly little guy. I guess the only one to blame is me.
Oh! And, the naps are back intermittently. All he needed was his “cool cars” – silly mom. I’ve got a lot of learning to do.
You makes so much sense!
