Toddler tantrums have become an every day occurrence (sometimes multiple times a day). Then, don’t forget, I’ve got a tween. And, she’s in full mood swings. Then, there’s the 8 year old who’s decided that telling lies is fun. This could make a mom crazy.
Okay, so maybe it’s a short trip, but I’m starting to lose it. I think it’s the 3 way combo. I’ve got to keep up with 3 different games and personalities. That can really wear a mom (or anybody) out.
Luckily, tonight, I got to have a break. It was Ladies Night Out at Crossroads Village. There were beautiful Christmas lights, crafts, shopping, and the weather cooperated so even just walking outside was wonderful. The company was awesome. There were no temper tantrums, no one threw themselves in the mud, and I don’t think I heard a single huff followed by an eye roll. I even got to ride the super-fast carousel and giggle like a kid.
No pictures? Yeah, I was too busy enjoying my evening to stop and take photos. Sorry.
I love Crossroads Village – I’m glad you got to have a night out. Miss you, my friend!
Miss you too!
