I hate shoe shopping.  Some women collect shoes.  I do not.  I have the sneaker, sandal, and maybe a couple of dress shoes (black and brown).  Okay, so my closet probably has 15 or so pairs, but those shoes were from back in the day (like 2 years ago) when I worked.

I also have very high arches.  And, after having cramps in my arches that lasted over 10 minutes, I went to the foot doctor.  He told me to NEVER, NEVER wear flip-flops.  I loved flip-flops.  They were my summer shoe.  He also told me that I had to wear good gym shoes with arch support or at least a 1.5 inch heel (preferably a wedge).  I was also told to NEVER go barefoot.  Well, I followed his orders and got better.  Now, I know how to avoid those cramps.

This poses problems for summer shoes.  Who wants to wear high-heeled sandals to go grocery shopping and who want to wear gym shoes in 90 degree weather?  You?  Sorry.  I get cranky just thinking about it.

So, here’s my find.  Okay, hubby found them.  Thank goodness he came with me.  I never would have even tried them on if I knew how much they cost.  That aside.  These sandals are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever worn.  I don’t even notice that I’m wearing a heel.  It makes me even more happy that they are Teva’s.  I had to give up my flip-flop Teva’s and I was so sad.

Aren’t they cute?  Okay, the price.  The most I’ve ever spent on a shoe…. $75.  I bought them at DSW Shoes and luckily had a $20 off coupon.  So a little better, right?

Anyway, I love them and that’s from a person who is not really into shoes.
