Easter weekend was packed with activity. So much to do. We just stayed home and enjoyed being with each other.
Saturday, we hard boiled some eggs and colored them. They came out beautiful. G was a little unamused with the slow and boring process, but he survived.
Then, we had an egg hunt in our back yard. Thankfully the weather cooperated and the sun was out. The kids had fun – even Baby E.
On Sunday we went to our church for their Easter service. It was very lovely and it was so nice to see so many people there. We even were able to get a photo of the kids all dressed up before they swapped their Easter duds for sweatpants or jeans.
Believe it or not we did have some time to relax. We enjoyed an afternoon viewing of Tangled. What a cute movie!
Beautiful eggs, cute kids a nd we love themovie Tangled.
How did you get your eggs to look so cute? I love that! They look like pretty multicolored robin’s eggs!
The egg dye kit was called Mother Nature or something. I got it a Meijer. Basically, you dyed the eggs and let them dry. Then, you put them on a plastic stand and used a gel dye and a brush that looked like a tooth brush to flick it onto the egg. Kind of messy – not recommended for the little ones. My daughter loved it. We just spread out a huge garbage bag over the (white) counter. Luckily, there were no problems. 🙂
